University of Arizona Medical Center Seeking Transplant Administrator

The University of Arizona Medical Center in Tucson is seeking a Transplant Administrator for their multi-organ transplant and MCS programs. The position reports to the CEO of the Medical Center and oversees the numerous aspects of regulatory, clinical, and administrative activities of the Transplant Center. The Transplant Administrator will serve as the principal point person for management of regulatory affairs over all transplantation and will work with physician program leaders and operations administration.

The Transplant Administrator will also participate in strategic development, quality improvement, team meetings, and leadership/executive meetings, as well as, represent the Transplant Center at internal and external organizations including but not limited to UNOS, HRSA/CMS, OPO, and Arizona DOH.

Requirements for the position are a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in solid organ transplantation either at a transplant center, regulatory agency, or OPO, preferably in a position with leadership responsibilities. Advanced knowledge of transplant services, organ donation and regulatory compliance required. RN and an advanced degree is a plus.
