Bill has spent over 35 years in healthcare, with extensive knowledge and experience in Medicare cost reporting rules and regulations. He has spent the past six years exclusively reviewing transplant center cost reports and financial issues. These reviews have included more than 25 distinct hospital transplant programs, approximately 10 percent of the certified programs in the United States. Bill’s career includes time in managerial roles in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement at the Divisional and Corporate levels with HCA, Triad Hospitals, and Horizon Health. Prior to that, he also worked as an Associate Auditor/Investigator for the New York State Deputy Attorney General’s Medicaid Fraud Unit, and as a Reimbursement Specialist with the Fiscal Intermediary Blue Cross of Rochester, New York. Bill has also worked extensively on hospital appeals for submission to the PRRB Board and has created numerous models for hospital net revenue recognition. Bill received a BA in General Business from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York and an MBA from Rochester Institute of Institute of Technology. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-inactive status).
